Uniform Policy

Promoting Confidence, Unity & School Pride at Horizon International Bilingual School

At Horizon International Bilingual School, the school uniform represents far more than a dress code — it reflects a shared identity, a sense of belonging, and the values that unite our learning community.

By wearing the Horizon uniform, students develop confidence, responsibility, and pride in representing themselves and the school community with respect and professionalism. The uniform also helps create a focused and inclusive learning environment where students can feel comfortable, equal, and ready to engage fully in school life.

Students are expected to wear the official Horizon school uniform from Monday to Friday while maintaining good hygiene, a neat appearance, and a positive attitude toward personal presentation.

On Thursdays, students are expected to wear their House T-shirts, fostering a strong sense of team spirit, healthy competition, and pride in their House community.

On days when students have a PE lesson, they are permitted to wear the official Horizon PE uniform, allowing them to participate comfortably and safely in physical activities.

On Thursdays when students have a PE lesson, they should wear their House T-shirt together with the official Horizon PE pants, combining House spirit with comfort and readiness for physical activity.

Our uniform policy encourages students to:

Designed to support students’ active school life, the Horizon uniform combines comfort, practicality, and a professional appearance appropriate for an international learning environment.

Students are encouraged to wear the uniform correctly and respectfully at all times, reflecting the values of responsibility, respect, and pride that define the Horizon community.

Special Events & Flexible Dress Opportunities

On selected occasions throughout the school year, students may wear alternative attire suitable for specific activities or celebrations.
Examples include:

• PE uniforms during field trips and sports activities
• Themed outfits during school spirit events
• Traditional or cultural attire for celebrations such as International Day

During these events, students are still expected to follow the school’s dress code guidelines to ensure a respectful, safe, and appropriate learning environment for everyone.
