Discovering Passions, Building Confidence & Growing Beyond the Classroom

Learning at Horizon International Bilingual School extends far beyond academic lessons. Our Student Club Programme is designed to inspire students to explore their interests, discover hidden talents, develop life skills, and build meaningful friendships within a vibrant and supportive school community.

Through a wide range of engaging club experiences, students are encouraged to express creativity, strengthen confidence, develop leadership skills, and enjoy learning in dynamic and enjoyable ways.

An Engaging Co-Curricular Journey

The Horizon Student Club Programme provides students with valuable opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically while enjoying meaningful experiences beyond the traditional classroom environment.

Secondary & High School Clubs take place every Thursday during Periods 6 and 7, creating dedicated time for students to participate in activities they are passionate about.

Clubs are led by a dedicated team of Horizon teachers together with external specialists and experts who bring real-world knowledge, professional experience, and specialised skills to enrich students’ learning experiences.

Learning Through Passion & Participation

Club participation allows students to explore new interests, strengthen existing talents, and develop important future-ready skills through hands-on learning and collaboration.

Through their club experiences, students develop:

  • Creativity and innovation
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Confidence and communication abilities
  • Responsibility and independence
  • Social connection and collaboration
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving

Student Clubs also play an important role in students’ emotional and behavioural development by encouraging positive peer relationships, self-expression, and a strong sense of belonging within the school community.

By participating consistently over time, students are able to fully engage with their interests while building confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of achievement.

More Than Activities — A Place to Belong

Student Clubs at Horizon are more than co-curricular activities. They are spaces where students can connect, collaborate, create, and grow in a positive and encouraging environment.

Through every club meeting, project, performance, competition, and shared experience, students are inspired to become confident, well-rounded, and globally minded individuals ready to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
