Professional Transportation & Caring Supervision

Horizon partners with a certified professional transportation provider to ensure students travel safely and comfortably each day. All drivers and bus staff follow strict safety procedures aligned with the school’s safeguarding and security policies.

Each school bus is operated by:

• A professional and experienced bus driver
• A dedicated bus monitor who supervises and supports students throughout the journey

Together, they help maintain a safe, organised, respectful, and caring environment on every route while supporting safe boarding and drop-off procedures each day.

Bus monitors also play an important role in students’ daily routines by helping younger students feel comfortable, supporting students during transitions, and ensuring every child travels safely and confidently between home and school.

Smart Bus Tracking with Antabus Application

To provide families with greater convenience, transparency, and peace of mind, Horizon uses the Antabus smart transportation application to support real-time school bus monitoring and communication.
Through the Antabus app, parents can:

• Track the school bus journey in real time
• Monitor students’ boarding and drop-off status
• Receive notifications when students get on or off the bus
• Stay updated on transportation schedules and routes
• Communicate more effectively regarding transportation arrangements

With Antabus, families can conveniently follow their child’s daily journey directly from their mobile devices, helping strengthen communication, safety, and trust between school and home.

Safe Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Bus safety is closely connected to Horizon’s campus security procedures. During arrival and dismissal times, staff members supervise designated pick-up and drop-off areas to ensure smooth traffic flow and support students’ safe transition between school and home.

In the morning, bus assistants oversee safe boarding and help students begin the day calmly and positively. In the afternoon, bus monitors and staff carefully supervise dismissal procedures and ensure students are safely handed over to parents or authorised guardians.

Strong Communication for Student Safety

To ensure clear communication and the highest level of student safety, families are encouraged to inform the School Office in writing regarding any changes to transportation arrangements, pick-up permissions, or dismissal plans.
