Donation Organization to Lai Châu

On the 6th of November, 2020 volunteer teachers and staff members of Horizon International Bilingual School including administration members went to Xin Ho district in Lai Chau province together with the Hanoi Department of Education and Training staff, administration members, and teachers of Le Loi Secondary School and Dich Vong Hau secondary school.

This charity trip was planned several months in advance under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training guidance. We have visited 2 schools in place and donated clothes, food, and stationery materials. After some point, we left our vehicles and went on a boat for 2 hours and then we were picked up by motorbikes in the mountain area.

Although the trip was challenging and exhausting, everyone on our team was happy that we can be helpful to those people in need. We have discussed with local authorities along with school administration and teachers about how we can help to renovate their schools. In fact, there were only 2 locations with 2 classrooms in each.

In the second term of this academic year, we are planning to go again so that we can renovate and bring some equipment, materials, tables, and chairs to those schools in the Xin Ho district to enhance the quality of education.
