Cambridge Primary Checkpoint
We provide diagnostic tests for the end of the Primary programme for English, English as a second language, mathematics and science. We mark the tests and give feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of each learner.
Cambridge Lower Secondary:
A three-stage programme that provides curriculum frameworks, support materials and assessment for each of the following subjects:
• English
• English as a second language
• mathematics
• science
• Cambridge Global Perspectives.
Each stage reflects the teaching targets for a school year.
Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint
Cambridge provides diagnostic tests for the end of the Lower Secondary programme for English, English as a second language, mathematics and science. We mark the tests and give feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of each learner. Cambridge Lower Secondary Global Perspectives are assessed through a Research Report. Teachers mark this and we moderate it.
Cambridge Upper Secondary IGCSE :
Cambridge Upper Secondary provides excellent preparation for the next stage of a Cambridge education, Cambridge Advanced, as well as other progression routes Horizon follows IGCSE in two strands Science and Social Sciences. At the end of grade 8, with the guidance and supervision of parents and teachers, the students have to choose the right track they will follow for their career. The students are strongly suggested to take the Cambridge IGCSE assessments that take place at the end of the course. There is a range of types of assessment, including written, oral, coursework and practical assessment.
Cambridge Advanced
Cambridge Advanced builds on the foundations of Cambridge Upper Secondary and leads to entry to universities worldwide. The focus is on helping learners to develop a deep understanding and independent learning and critical thinking skills, which universities value highly.
Horizon provides three strands for the students in grade 11 and 12. The STEM aims to provide a required subject-based program for the students who are willing to follow their career in Engineering, Medical Sciences, ICT et.
The BA aims to provide a required subject-based program for the students who are willing to follow their career in Economics, Business Management, etc.
The Human Sciences aims to provide a required subject-based program for the students who are willing to follow their career in Human Sciences.
Every student in each strand is aimed to take three mandatory and one elective subject.
