This year’s theme, “Tết 2026: A Season of Giving,” beautifully reflected the spirit of the Lunar New Year — a time not only for celebration, but also for gratitude, kindness, and sharing with others.
Tết, Vietnam’s Lunar New Year, is a cherished season of new beginnings. It is a time when families come together to honour traditions, express gratitude, and welcome the year ahead with hope.
At Horizon, we celebrate Tết as an important cultural occasion for our Vietnamese community, while also embracing it as a meaningful opportunity for our international families to learn, experience, and connect. The celebration allowed everyone to share in the warmth of Vietnamese traditions and deepen our school’s spirit of intercultural understanding.
Alongside the joyful atmosphere, the Charity Bazaar reminded us of what truly makes the season special — the opportunity to give back. With lively booths, student participation, and family support, the bazaar brought our community together for a shared purpose: spreading kindness beyond the school gates.
Through this experience, students learned that giving is not only about donations, but also about empathy, responsibility, and being mindful of those who may need support.

Horizon’s commitment to global citizenship is not only taught in classrooms — it is lived through experiences like this. Events such as the Tết Celebration and Charity Bazaar help students understand that cultural appreciation and community service go hand in hand.
The smiles, laughter, and strong sense of togetherness throughout the afternoon reminded us that when a community celebrates with generosity, the impact becomes even more powerful.
Horizon would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all parents, students, staff, and partners who contributed to the success of this event. Your support helped make Tết 2026 not only joyful, but truly meaningful.
As we welcome the new year, we wish our entire community peace, happiness, good health, and prosperity.
Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!
