Not so long ago, students were still confused and timidly standing next to their parents in the first days of entering primary school, they started from very basic rhythm like "O tròn như quả trứng gà, ô thời đội mũ, ô thời mang râu". Now, after a period of learning and practicing under the roof of Horizon School, the children can read and write. To mark this important turning point for the first graders, to honor the value of the book - a good friend, teacher, an endless intellectual treasure and contribute to making reading habits a beauty. In school culture, the school board of directors organized a reading festival for first grade students.

Coming to this playground, children did show their own reading ability through reading Vietnamese poems with educational rhymes about life skills, love for the nation, love for their parents, for teachers and friends. Not only that, but they also show their English reading ability when they are transformed into characters in funny and humorous short stories. Finally, a very meaningful activity "Giving books" to the first graders is a message, the wishes of the teachers, the school and the children, hoping they will grow up with the book.

The festival ended in the excitement of students, the beliefs, the hope of parents and teachers that they will have a wonderful companion in their lives - BOOKS.
