/HCMC HCMC, Horizon International Bilingual School organized a parents orientation program for all our new and current parents on August 20-21, 2021. This program was a handle on the online application, which is zoom.
HCMC, Horizon International Bilingual School organized a parents orientation program for all our new and current parents on August 20-21, 2021. This program was a handle on the online application, which is zoom.
Mr. Ferhat Ozturk, the newly appointed school coordinator of Horizon Primary and Sec High school, formally welcomed the parents of children from the primary department on August 20, 2021, and the sec high department on August 21, 2021. He also expressed his gratitude to the parents for entrusting HIBS for their children’s education and talked extensively about the importance of education in the 21st century. He also gave an insight into the school’s commitment to providing relevant and innovative education that may invoke active learning to students. Finally, he assured the parents of the school’s mission to raise educated and confident learners, responsible, reflective, innovative, engaged, and principled.
After the admin section, each homeroom teacher grade explains the various learning tools Horizon International Bilingual School uses. The parents were also informed about the changes being implemented online this year. The school is delighted to have the parents engage in productive discussions regarding their child’s schooling.
After the discussions, each grade chose two representatives for the school’s Parents-Teachers Association. The PTA aims to improve the parents' and teachers' relationship and involve the parents in school activities.
