Horizon holds Data Dialogue Training for Teachers

Teacher training is one of the most important aspects of education. This assures that teachers are equipped with skills that will enable them to deliver their lessons in a more conducive manner.

The focal point of this month’s training revolves around data dialogue. Data dialogue is a relatively new concept in education. It is a structured group conversation that helps educators understand and develop their students through the use of pertinent data.

Mr. Rovshan Zeynalov, the school principal, and his team of moderators, which included Ms. Jewel Quizon, Ms. Amanda Lepera, Mr. Azat Yazgulyyev, and Ms. Vivienne Molloy, sat down with the teachers and answered questions with

them.

"I am really happy about the things that we have talked about today." Ms. Chona, economics teacher, said, "Each teacher was able to share their struggles as well as the best practices that they used that can be beneficial to other subjects as well."

Understanding and looking into data may be a daunting task for many, but it is also a great way to make objective conclusions and decisions. Horizon is very hopeful that the learnings from this training will further improve the quality of education that Horizon teachers are providing.
