The Traditional Costume and Nón Lá Showcase brought unforgettable moments where students from Primary to Secondary shone with confidence, creativity, and a deep appreciation for both Vietnamese and global cultures.

The Colours of Culture Through Primary Students’ Performances

 

The stage came alive as our Primary students confidently stepped forward in traditional costumes representing various countries.

Each outfit told its own cultural story, and every smile reflected the students’ confidence as they proudly introduced the beauty of different nations to teachers, friends, and parents.

More than a performance, this activity broadened their perspectives, nurtured global-mindedness, and strengthened their respect for cultural diversity—core values that Horizon always strives to cultivate.

Creative Highlights from the Secondary to High School Students’ Nón Lá Collection

The atmosphere grew even more impressive with the showcase of hand-decorated nón lá created by Secondary to High School students.

 

Each hat was a unique artwork carrying personal expression, some bold and vibrant, others intricate and refined, each telling a different story from every class.

 

Through this creative process, students not only learned about the iconic Vietnamese conical hat but also truly lived the culture, gaining deeper understanding and appreciation for traditional values.

 

A Gentle Finale with “Bài Ca Đất Phương Nam”

The program concluded with a heartfelt musical performance of “Bài Ca Đất Phương Nam.”

Its emotional and melodious tune transported the audience back to the peaceful Southern region of Vietnam, filled with familiar, rustic, and touching imagery.

 

This moment invited teachers, parents, and students to pause, reflect, and feel the sincere cultural connection, beautifully aligning with the spirit of Language Week.
