World Ozone day

The ozone layer, a fragile shield of gas, protects the Earth from the harmful portion of the sun's rays, thus helping preserve life on the planet. 
World Ozone Day, or International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, observed annually on September 16, is meant to raise awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and how its depletion leads to global warming and climate change.

Horizon students showed their involvement in creating awareness by joining the drawing competitions and debates, reminding us that the responsibility to protect our planet rests in our hands.
