Horizon International Bilingual School
At Horizon, we believe that school is more than academics—it is about belonging, leadership, and connection. The House System fosters a strong sense of community, identity, and school spirit for every student.
A Strong Start
Each academic year begins with a Grand Opening ceremony, where students come together in their House teams for activities such as the House Spirit Showcase, House Cheer & Slogan Challenge, and other creative showcases. This marks the start of friendly competition, teamwork, and pride.
Our Houses
Students are assigned to one of four houses upon joining the school and remain in that House until graduation:
- Yellow House (Cheetah) – “One Team, One Dream!”
- Green House (Green Hydras) – “Unity is our Strength!”
- Blue House (Wolves) – “No Pain, No Gain!”
- Red House (Red Dragons) – “Hearts of Fire, Hands of Steel!”
Points & Participation
Throughout the year, Houses earn points through:
Academic achievements
Good behaviour
School spirit
Participation in events, sports, and service projects
Weekly meetings, cross-grade interaction, and leadership opportunities help students develop confidence, responsibility, and strong friendships.
House Champion
At the end of the academic year, the House with the highest number of points is awarded the title of House Champion, celebrated by the entire school.
