The School Counselor plays an essential role in supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. At our school, the counseling programme provides a safe and supportive environment where students can express themselves, build self-awareness, and develop the skills needed to navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom.

The counselor works closely with students, teachers, and parents to promote wellbeing, positive relationships, and a strong sense of belonging. Support may include individual or small group sessions, guidance on friendships and behaviour, and strategies for managing emotions, stress, and transitions. The programme also contributes to Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), helping students develop empathy, resilience, and responsible decision-making.

In addition, the School Counselor collaborates with teachers to support students’ learning and behaviour, and provides guidance to parents when needed. Through this holistic approach, we aim to ensure that every student feels supported, confident, and ready to succeed both academically and personally.
