Governance
The Board of Directors is the group that runs Horizon International School, represents the interests of students, teachers, and staff, manages policy, and is responsible for the school's financial affairs. The Board is responsible for managing Horizon's operations, maintaining training standards, and managing its portfolio of assets. The council regularly evaluates the teaching methods across the whole school, ensures an effective teaching and learning environment that meets 21st-century output standards, and ensures that resources are used effectively.
The Horizon School Board of Trustees has specific responsibilities as follows:
Develop and maintain the School's Vision, Mission, Standards, Strategic Objectives, and Sustainability, develop and evaluate policies, manage stable long-term financial operations, regulate and adjust tuition fees, approve the annual budget, and assess regularly the Rector's capacity through training courses and orient new members of the Board of Directors.
