Horizon International Bilingual School's Learning Expo 2024: A Showcase of Innovation and Collaboration

This annual event of Horizon school, organised by Envision Education, drew thousands of students and educators from Hanoi and beyond, marking a celebration of knowledge exchange and creativity.

Themed "AI Perspectives: Blending Subjects for Innovative Education," the Learning Expo embodied Horizon's dedication to keeping education relevant in the face of modern advancements. Students and educators alike delved into the challenging topic, presenting a plethora of outstanding projects that showcased the profound impact of artificial intelligence on various aspects of our lives.

From groundbreaking AI applications in DNA sampling for medical research to AI-infused art galleries and math songs, the Expo's exhibits illustrated the boundless potential of human creativity intertwined with technological innovation. Notably, primary students exhibited their global awareness through projects exploring different countries alongside their inventive soap-making venture—a testament to Horizon's holistic approach to education.

The Expo transcended typical fairs and surpassed mere project presentations; it blossomed into a vibrant arena where friendly competition intertwined with genuine camaraderie, fostering bonds that extended far beyond the event itself. Secondary and high school students engaged in thrilling drone flying and water rocket competitions, while primary students demonstrated their engineering prowess in paper plane design and egg-drop challenges. The air buzzed with excitement as participants poured their hearts into each contest, cheered on by enthusiastic supporters.

Beyond the exhibitions and competitions, the event featured a Parents Fashion Show, where recycled materials were transformed into futuristic attire, echoing the theme of sustainability and technological integration.

Distinguished guests, including Ms Bùi Thị Lan Phương, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, and representatives from 26 educational institutions and government bodies from Ha Noi, Ha Tinh, Ho Chi Minh, graced the event with their presence, showing unwavering support for the young innovators and educators driving positive change in the community.

As the day concluded, participants, winners, and contributors were recognised and celebrated with certificates and trophies, marking the culmination of a day filled with inspiration and learning.
